Holiday Homes

1- Railway Holiday Homes have been established in picturesque hill stations, charming sea-side resorts, and other delightful settings, serving as a remarkable staff amenity.

2- When staff members are granted lodging in Railway Holiday Homes, leave requests should only be declined in the most urgent circumstances.

3- In cases where lower-tier accommodation options are unavailable due to closure, Group ‘D’ staff may be allocated higher-tier Railway Holiday Homes by paying charges equivalent to the lower-tier rates.

4- A complete rental fee recovery will be enforced if sufficient prior notice is not given following accommodation assignment, regardless of whether the suite in Railway Holiday Homes is occupied or vacant.

5- It is not permissible for officers to reserve accommodations in Railway Holiday Homes with the intention of allowing friends or relatives to utilize them.

6- Officers and staff of the Railway Audit Department, including ADAI (Railways), as well as personnel from Central Government Ministries/Departments and the Lok and Rajya Sabha Secretariats, may enjoy the privilege of utilizing Railway Holiday Homes, subject to fulfilling the needs of Railway staff and officers. The charges levied will align with those applicable to Railway servants.

7- Sharing Railway Holiday Homes accommodation with another Railway officer is acceptable; however, the rental fee will be charged to the officer who initially reserved the accommodation.

8- There is no objection to the suite allotted to an officer in Railway Holiday Homes being occupied by the officer’s family in case the officer is unable to accompany them.dxs
